Rockschool Band Camp (5 - 15yrs)

St Andrew's C.E First School

Rockschool Band Camp is our small-group music holiday club for young musicians who want to learn songs, play in bands, create their own music and perform. Across the week, students work with our Music Academy coaches on real musical goals: building their skills, learning a set list of cover songs …more, rehearsing as a band, writing an original song, recording music and preparing for an end-of-week live showcase. This is not a standard activity camp where children are just kept busy. Students are coached through a proper band experience, with support, structure and plenty of chances to play, create, collaborate and grow in confidence. The week is built around four key areas: Skill Building: developing confidence on their instrument or voice. Set List: learning and rehearsing cover songs as a group. Songwriting & Recording: creating original music together. Showcase: performing at the end of the week for family. Places are limited so that every child gets plenty of attention, encouragement and time to play. It is ideal for young musicians who enjoy music, want to be part of a band, and would love to work towards a real performance. less
